Know what you mean, but... depending on the seller, sometimes an offer to take everything (meaning really everything, not cherrypicking) will work out well, though generally requires a bit of conversation. 2 transactions like that, not too far apart in time, got me well on my way into the mess I'm in today...
If after talking with the seller, it feels right to leave it be, you can always offer to be a buyer of last resort, ( probably once the Colnago sells.)
PS I'm interested in the Guerciotti stem, if you ever get that far.
Cheers, Eric

Seriously???
This Saronni is back up. First time I saw it, with these same disoriented photos, was over a year ago, priced at $150. I sent the seller a few requests to meet, never heard a response, and the price went up to $250. Now it's back up at $200, but he did add that more chainrings are included. When I was interested, I was going to powder coat it red and build an '80s Campy 2x7. Bike should be in this thread and the seller should be in the other one. (whack.)

The pictures are awful, but $500 isn't that bad of a price for an XO-2...

This thing has been languishing for months, maybe as long as a year @ $1000. Not the best pictures, I admit, but still a decent deal, no? You would think someone in one of the richest areas of the country could afford it.

A frankenbike that needs work, but it might be worth the price:
https://worcester.craigslist.org/bik...127038952.html
bicycle frame material: steel
bicycle type: road
brake type: cantilever
condition: good
frame size: 52 center to top
handlebar type: drop
make / manufacturer: Fuji
model name / number: Saratoga
wheel size: 27 in
Vintage project. Fuji Saratoga touring bike. Probably 80's vintage. 6 speed cluster, mix of Suntour, diacompe and Sugino parts. Tall Technomics stem. No front wheel. I believe the fork is a replacement.

Frankenbike? Fuji and Suntour seem to have relied on Sugino for cranks and Dia Compe for brakes. Suntour made the mechs and shifters. You could check the catalogs, but it probably shipped with those parts.

Looks pretty Franken to me, what with the replacement fork, front wheel, shifters, big chainring, stem, and mis-match tires.

It's not a true frankenbike unless the frame came from a junk heap and it has an Atlus M310 derailleur (the Super Record of frankenbike parts)

58/60cm? Looks pretty original, but can use some love!
after a little more internet digging, it looks to be an early 1980’s Pro-10 that is all-original I hope someone snags this one before me... save me from myself!

16" steel frame terry symmetry road bike. Great for SHORT women or teens (I'm 5'1 with a 26" inseam). Fantastic commuter or recreation bike. Frame mounted gear shift. Space for two water bottle cages. Comes with 5 tubes and new handlebar tape. Hasn't been ridden in several years, so needs a tune-up, but in solid overall shape. Contactless pickup Spring Hill Somerville, venmo before pickup.

Looks to have matching grunge and fairly specific Reynolds decals too.
And seems to be straight aside from a bit of optical conclusion and maybe a bit of something going on at the lower HT lug paint.

That's a really nice big roadbike with FM-1 Splined triple butted cromoly tubing. I would be really tempted to buy this one myself since it is from the original owner with low mileage.

Looks like someone spent a lot of time on that and found it too big. Someone mentioned a good set of hoods earlier...

I was on CL yesterday morning and probably exited moments before this ad was posted. I got on BF about three hours later and saw your post and attempted to reach the seller. Knew at that price it was probably already too late and we'll probably see a flipper's ad soon but the bike is my size and I thought I'd give it a try even though the geometry suggests it's no better for my needs than the RB-T I recently sold.
No response from the seller, by the way.

"Just no time for it right now & trying to de clutter." Nice touch for a flipper's ad.

And it's back, for only slightly less than twice the price in the original ad. But this time you get a drive side photo.
