I was thinking more along the lines of the Women's TdF or prize purses for female racers but okay. I've only ever ridden one pink girl's bike that I know of. I was going up the hill to visit my mom. I had told her about my Trek and she had said "Oh. I was hoping you'd have a pretty pink bike" so I thought "What the heck? A bike is a bike" and I borrowed a pink Schwinn step-through from the shop. It wasn't a cruiser. It had gears. Unfortunately, it didn't have low enough gearing to get me up to the top of the steep hill and - no matter how hard I pedaled - I couldn't get it any further than 3/4 the way up and had to walk it until I got to more level ground. Mom thought it was adorable but I never made that mistake again. I've been eyeing LoP's hot pink bike ever since he got it but I only have stand-over in one spot so that's not happening.

I’m a little confused when it comes to wheels. I’ve been looking at carbon wheels lately, and I search for carbon clinchers. Clinchers are for tubes correct? Yet when I read the description every single one of the wheels that I have looked at specified tubeless in the description. Are carbon wheels traditionally tubeless?

Huh. Well, I watched it go from "awaiting stock pick" to "awaiting shipment" overnight, and I just got a text that my credit card was run, so I assume that they're going out shortly.

Well and it's not just us measuring; it's beaten into us from every direction. Breaking Bad had Gus's "a man provides", and that's of course only one example. It's baked into one of the central points of The Baker and the Beauty. I'm about as woke as a white guy is going to get, I was raised by a stronk mother with far more savvy and drive than my father, which runs back up the family at least two more generations... and even for me it stings occasionally how much more AG makes. She doesn't judge, but despite that upbringing of mine it's been beaten into my psyche since I could read.

I am working in my NJ office today. Phone rings. Screen says the call is from "A WOMANS PLACE." Didn't pick it up, but I figure it must have been someone calling from home.

Some guy started a thread in General about how his wife got this used bike. Even came with a rear rack, panniers and the S&S suitcase. Price: $550. Talk about the crime of the century.

It's unfortunate that the step-through frame design rarely gets implemented outside of department store bikes. There's a few nice ones out there, but definitely few-and-far-between.
The new Velo-Orange one certainly looks promising.
