Wut. The wheels evidently cleared customs in Cincy, already.

A Cautionary Tale
I mowed the lawn this afternoon. Then I drank water. I drank enough to re-hydrate from mowing, but not enough to re-hydrate and pre-hydrate for my subsequent ride.![Embarrassment](images/smilies/redface.gif)
So I got thirsty, but I HTFU and kept riding anyway.

It it took him 17 hours, it would probably take me 47 hours. I would have to set up an actual base camp.

Lol. I'm going to register them ASAP, though - a big part of the allure is that they have a lifetime warranty, so I want to be sure that SRAM is going to honor that. If they don't... yeah, I don't know.
Oh, and the other customs shoe dropped - I am on the hook for additional duties, but it's only 45 bucks or so.

The number of ways y'all could be dealing with me still trying to find someone...

I... don't really know if this is the place to share. But some certainly knew him. Bikeforums legend Pcad was struck and killed by a car while riding yesterday.
Rest in peace.
Rest in peace.

Agreed. My wife and I only hike when on vacation and a decently long downhill seems to hurt the quads a lot. I don’t know much about hiking but it seems like the quads are tensed up and then repeatedly jarred at the same time with every step. It’s almost like the quads and connective tissue become bruised or strained. Regardless, I can sense your pain.

Trigger warning: There's an (unnecessary) photo of the bike.
