These images are non-bike related but nevertheless it still was a nice day to be outdoors. My better half and I took a day trip out to Clear Water County in West Central Alberta, specifically to visit Abraham Lake/Cline River to scour the shores for driftwood and rocks for her garden. It's also the site of the Big Horn Dam. I managed to take a few photos for posterity. Will be back on the saddle tomorrow. Cheers!
Un-serviced campsites such as this one dot the route along the lake, some with great views of the landscape below and beyond.

View from a bridge across our bay, you can see another bridge in the distance. Second pic is view of a lift bridge and the overpass bridge behind it. That is the one you can see in the first pic. 31 mile loop around the bay.

An Anniversary getaway in Roanoke VA. It was great to see one of my favorite brews with an East Coast presence. Deschutes Black Butte Porter is probably my second favorite beer. I discovered it in Burns, OR when I rode across the US in 2016.

Wow, you guys posted really beautiful pictures. I think cyclists are the most luckiest people who can enjoy the most of the nature on bike

Managed to get a half-way decent pic of Comet Neowise with my Canon S-95. Long exposure, ISO 3200. Small tabletop tripod setting on the roof of my car.

That was taken from Minaret Vista near Mammoth. If you take 203 past the main lodge at the ski resort and keep going another mile or so, it gets you to a kiosk with a viewpoint. I took this about 1/2 mile on the other side of the viewpoint.
It makes for a really sweet ride. A lot of climbing (and the climb up out of the valley down there is steep), but not a lot of cars, and beautiful!

From my three-day tour earlier this month. Two strong cells moved through that afternoon. The first one delayed the pitching of my tent. This was taken during the second one. Moderate to very heavy rain for about 1 hr.
Fortunately, this was NOT my campsite, but rather one across from the bathhouse/laundry room, where I was charging my phone. Keep in mind that the soil at the campground is pretty sandy, so it absorbs water relatively well. It was simply raining too hard for two long for the ground to keep up.

I posted this on another site in response to something. Self-serve market (unmanned). There was even a fridge inside with sandwiches. I am pretty sure it was outside St. Johnsbury, VT.
