I was pretty hell bent on getting new wheels as my next big purchase, but I’m leaning towards getting a used Titanium breakway sometime next year. I really want to bring my bike to work, and I think the flight schedule will continue to be relaxed I will have more time to ride while at work.

I'm just kidding, but FWIW the Assaults are like 90% of the road wheelsets out there - they're tubeless ready; you don't have to run tubeless tires on them. There are only a half-dozen or so wheelsets (a couple Zipps, some ENVE, etc) that require you to use tubeless tires (though you don't actually have to run them tubeless, but why buy those wheels at that point, if that's the case).

Grrrrr. Family obligations so only time for a quick ride today. Felt like a good day for a KOM run on a particular segment, though, so I went for it and felt pretty good about it. Got home and saw a 2nd place finish. Looked at the KOM... yup - car. I flagged it, of course, which gives me the KOM but not the recognition on the ride summary.
I always wondered if ebike users logging in their stats and muddling with those KOM records.

Question for those with more training acumen than I: for the ride today, Intervals.icu had me an a NP that put me at 104% Intensity for a 1hr 23min ride. Should I be bumping my FTP?
Edited to add: I really have no desire to grind out an FTP test at this point, though.

You have to be honest with yourself. If it doesn't make sense, or it's a touch too easy, there's good reason.

Especially with a carbon bike, I don't ride in the rain or in the dark. I always get punctures in the rain and crashes in the dark. Just not worth my time. I want to enjoy my cycling experience and don't want to risk my precious getting hurt. I always say... my wounds will heal but not my bike....just sayin...

Anyway, I just don't want to to be too far off in my load calculations and whatnot, though I don't know how much of a difference being off by 15-20w would make.

That's the thing - I just don't know. I seem to be more suited to going above threshold for a bit and then backing off and then doing it again and again. The ride wasn't easy - there was plenty of discomfort and gasping, but then there was recovery. That said idea of trying to hold my NP for the ride for an hour plus is not terribly appealing. At all.

And therein lies the problem with keeping your fitness over 100 - it really relies on not bumping your FTP as you gain fitness. When I did my test earlier this year my TSS plunged, and it will again next time I assume. You've been doing a lot lately, so of course your true FTP has gone up but without a test, it manifests as an ability to register more TSS. But it's not real, because your real FTP is higher than set.
I'll test once it's cold again. Or at least cool.

Or get lower. That'll knock that hour power straight down, and you'll be faster. I know it's the least appealing option, but it's real life. Granted, your true hour of power won't change, but you'll wish it did.
I'm looking for about another inch down and getting my arms together. I can likely handle the further drop, but that arm thing is painful.
