Don’t normally buy myself anything and had sworn off buying any more bikes, but just fell head over heels in love with this one. Decided to celebrate publishing my book by buying myself a Precious... I mean a present!

Full 1st generation Super Record except for the pedals. Almost done getting it in shape except for new cables and housing which is on its way. Fastest bike I’ve ever owned, most likely because it’s red!

You know I initially thought that and have some on hand, but the leather started to grow on me, also it’s super comfortable.

I used to own this exact bicycle. I sold it to the shop you bought it from. I had to remake the decals from photos and redo the pantographing infill. The unicanitor saddle alone was going for like $400 back in the day. I bet it still has the *3* sticker underneath, denoting buffalo hide. I still regret selling it. Hope you are enjoying it.
