Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

For the third time in four weeks, I found a yellow jacket nest. This time the hard way.

You don’t understand. Your bike fit is now the model of fit. However it feels is “good” and “right.”

I love it. I climbs like an XC bike, but descends like an enduro bike.

I purchased it as a complete bike back in May, but swapped the SRAM NX components(except the crank) for Shimano XT, upgraded to an I9 Hydra Light Bicycle wheelset, and swapped the bars/stem to Nukeproof ,

Great question. I was minding my own business, beautifying the world.

I was dumping sticks on the brush pile and one of those buggers stung me on the wrist.

Turned out I was a few yards from the nest, posing no threat to it. At dusk his buddies got a nice gasoline bath because of it.

The good news is I was pre-prednisoned.

However, there's still swelling and it hurts.
