Another look what followed me home post...
Good day all!
Was perusing local bike marketplace on fbook, and this popped up!
Serial number dates frame to 2000. Campy Daytona! And I'm OK with the triple rings. Frame and gruppo appear to have very little use. Racing T crankset, Campy hubs. Saddle needs to go, prefer Fizik. Not sure about the bar tape.
Already adjusted for my riding needs. And the ride is fantastic! Love the colorway. I'll have to look a third time, but paint seems to be nick/scratch free. Put some new LOOK pedals on her and went for a quick 20 tonight. Would have gone longer but rain started. Scored this for $700, which considering the condition I feel was very good to excellent.
Oh, and I'm still waiting for my Waterford R-33 to be finished! Wound Up Fork building delays due to carbon weaving machine breakdown and related parts issues. If this is an "off the rack" Waterford product the R-33 should be brilliant!
Enjoy!
Amazing this found me!
Updates on Gunnar. Added pretty much a NOS Campagnolo Eurus wheelset with 26mm P Zero tires, Fizik saddle, black stem and bars. Need to figure out what I want to do with spacers. Still a little unsure if I should stick with seat post or get red Azonic post.

Might be a Merckx logo… unsure if they branded any though.

The bike is already loud, agree with a more subtle tape situation would look good on this one.
That feeling of wanting to keep on riding with a new bike is so great.
(Edit: props on the license plate! And you may want to blur or cover it somehow.)

Awesome bike, if it followed me home, I’d go with the fade, red Selle Italia Flite titanium saddle, black bar tape.

Pedal to the medal
Beautiful score! Interesting there's eyelets on the back but not the fork. I say keep the tape until it's time to replace. The bike is loud, the tape is loud, be loud, haha. Great price given the shape and pedigree of components.

Personally, I like your license plate - it shows your passion for cycling!
Ohio has so many of the special logo plates - I didn't count, but maybe over 100 - between colleges, high schools, fraternal organizations, charities... and many are one-year-only availability. Each logo plate collects a $$ fee that is given to the organization. Not sure who benefits from 'Share the Road'

I see you didn’t buy the red titanium flite, I passed on it also, too expensive. But I did need a red saddle for a new CV build, and this is a very good one, relatively cheap, so I bought it. I have this saddle on the majority of my CV builds, mostly in black, and it is quite comfortable. Not a Brooks Pro, or Selle Italia flite, I have one each on two of my builds, but still a well built, durable, quality saddle.

While the car is not my 'cup-of-tea' and neither is the straight-blade fork, threadless headset, 'splash' bar tape, or relative-seat-height higher than bars, I can still appreciate his dedication to the 'cause'...

Accord is my "road car', lots of traveling Ohio for work. Eats up the miles and still returns 30 mpg overall, almost even mix of highway and city. And has enough guts and handling to provide me some fun when conditions allow!

Have ridden Gunnar six times in span of 9 days or so, still very happy!
Did finally spend some time taking some time to inspect paint work in detail. Only one spot where red was chipped and touched up. Very minor rub marks in couple spots. Man, she likes to shine with some wax on her!
Considering changing cockpit over to black along with maybe red seat post. Both stem and seat post appear to be no name parts, bars are Sakae.
