correct he ignored my email, after replying to other emails. I emailed him finally after days of not replying and said “I guess I can wait for Campagnolo in Italy to reply to my email when they open back up on 8/26 and he replied right away and said ‘sounds good’”

My initial email asking for help with this (I attached the same photo you’ve seen to the email) he didn’t respond
This is my reply after days of not replying

I honestly give up. I’ve yet to find anyone selling high end bikes who has a clue how to sell and be concerned with the basics of making sure you’re able to use it properly. I guess the natural progression into bike shop ownership is not one where you learn how to deal with customers properly but god is it sad

haha chaadster you’re too funny. Sorry guys I’m out in the Hamptons and have been busy. I’m all set I have a custom builder who is building a frame for me - he has the professionalism to have a conversation with me that I needed. I ordered the remainder of the parts - campy groupset, integrated Deda bars, Lightweight Millenstein EVO Wheelset etc - and a shop grade park tool tool set and I’m going to build myself. Looking forward to it!

Haha! dedhed you of course saw that I threw the OP a freebie upthread by explaining what the clip does and Richie Rich still couldn’t figure it out! But he could revolutionize the industry with his eyes closed, he says… OMG, it’s frickin’ ridiculous! And the OP still hasn’t DM’d me for my Venmo so he can get me on retainer as his personal bike advisor, er, Personal Bike Advisor.

I’m pretty sure the guy that sold you the bike is regretting his decision to do so.

I gather the bike works but there's an app that won't play music.

here are the photos from the conversation. Lol like these are the idiots servicing the bike industry. God I’m tempted to open a shop to properly service folks spending this type of money and kick everyones ass with my eyes closed. It’s pathetic these guys
My initial email asking for help with this (I attached the same photo you’ve seen to the email) he didn’t respond
This is my reply after days of not replying

Call Campagnolo North America in Carlsbad, CA: (760) 931-0106 They were pretty responsive and helpful when I contacted them a few years ago about a defective crankset and warranty claim. Your dealer sounds like a tool. For $24k, you should be getting concierge service.

...sometimes, I open one of these threads, read through it, and feel like a time traveler, transported far into the future. And the best part is that the popcorn tastes just as good, here in the future.

...although I guess if I get transported far enough into the future, the Hamptons will be underwater. So the thread topic will be about aqua-cycles.
