Alternative to Leyzene Road Drive mini?
i really like just about everything about this mini pump, especially the size, portability and the weight
i can easily strap it under my saddle bag and its really stealthy
but since switching to TPU inner tubes with plastic valve stem, the screw-on chuck doesn't work
is there anything else out there that has a lever rather than a screw-on ?

I would recommend the Topeak Road Morph Pump but I would recommend that to anyone.

Topeak Roadie TT mini (Twin Turbo) is a two-stage pump with easy pump strokes both ways. No hose, nor death grip needed. No gauge, Presta valves only.

Wow, I love my lezyne and hadn't considered that if I used TPU tubes as spares on my tubeless setup that it would be a problem. is there a work around other than a different pump? Maybe make up a little adapter with a valve stem, a short piece of hose, and a head that fits the TPU tube.

Works flawlessly. I will never go back to a level style chuck, which tends to leak air if not handled gingerly.
Operator error is the most likely explanation.

Yeah, mine screws onto the valve core. So if it has a normal valve core it should be fine. A lot of the tubes seem to be pictured only with valve caps covering the valve cores so I was unsure if there was a normal threaded core, but a little digging turned up pictures without caps for several brands and they all seem to have normal cores. That means that for my pump at least it should be a non issue.

Not sure about your specific version of the pump but I have a Lezyne Road Drive and the flex hose has a slip on chuck at one end and thread on chuck on the other. Does yours have and have you tried the slip on end of the hose?

So I just stumbled across this thread and made me concerned because I carry TPU tubes in case my tubeless tires can't be sealed. Took my tube with the plastic valve out and noticed that it still has a screw-on cap, and that the head of my Lezyne screws onto the same part that the cap does. I didn't try to pump the tube up, but it sure seems like it wouldn't be a problem.
