Almost Done
Been de-blacking the new toy, Specialized Allez Comp cromo. I'd been sorta looking for one for some time, had to drive to Reno to get this one but WAY worth it. Absolutely great ride ! Just waiting for the new headset and it'll be all done.

Rattle can white. Revealing a swell contour previously cleverly obscured by the CF black yuck. I didn't have a trough big enough to dunk the bars in but I may change them to bullhorns. I did find a steel cake tin the perfect size for the chainrings at Goodwill and they cleaned up just fine.
The black spokes are hella meh but it will be easier to build another set of wheels than to do those spokes. Coming up soon.

I love these hard to find Columbus Allez models. Rarely seen in anything larger than 56cm. Even more rare is the red version. Seems when they do make an appearance, they’re usually blue.
