A webshop sent me a couple of tires last week in a box that could easily have contained two dozens of said tires. "Air transport" gets a whole new meaning that way.
Anyway, our furry fellas didn't mind. They took possession the very second I lifted the tires from the box:

When we brought the kitten home in October, she was scared of the big dog and would hiss and spit whenever he came near. Once she figured out that he wasn't a threat, she would bop him on the nose with her paw whenever she walked past, just to make sure he still knew who was the boss. Maybe it was the cold winter, but eventually, she warmed up to him. Unfortunately, she lost her best bud last month when he had some serious health problems and we had to let him go. I never saw myself as a cat person but she has helped fill the void left from losing our dog. I think she picked up a few pointers during their short time together. She comes to greet us when we come in the house. She demands pets and cuddles. She sleeps at the foot of the bed. She plays fetch better than the dog ever did. He would chase the ball, but wouldn't give it back. The kitten will bring a toy and drop it by your feet and cry and/or paw at you until you throw it. She will chase after the toy and bring it back and drop it at your feet for another go. She especially like when you throw the toy over the back of the sofa. She will try to trap it against the wall, but if she misses, she'll dive right over the sofa to retrieve the toy. This will continue until she gets tired, usually 15-20 minutes. We did not teach her to play fetch, she did that on her own. My sister has one of the litter mates and he also plays fetch, so I'm not sure where they learned it.

My newbie to the house - Kas, an 11 yr. old kitten. My nephews cat who, for a number of reasons, including high expense, could not move with them to Barcelona. We offered to take her. She had on 2 prior occasions, been a boarder at our house in her earlier years. The big question was how well would my 2 existing 3 yr. old male boys accept her. And at first, not very well, the boys grew up in this house from 6 week old kittens, are liter mates and learned to play and chase each other around the large 2 story house. Kas, OTOH, was a single cat from a kitten, in a tiny, tiny Brooklyn apartment, so all kinds of adapting being needed, including having never really played and run around with other cats. She was not keen on being chased, would jump on the counters to escape and let out a screech, was scared to visit the 2nd floor, sleeps in the kitchen alcove where she feels safe.
6 mos later, she has adapted pretty well, can walk past one of the boys and if it looks like they want to challenge, she just gives them a good swat. She’s learned to challenge back and they will back down. The boys grew up with a 20 year old female for a few years, so they know not to get too rambunctious. So it’s getting better, maybe someday Kas will sleep upstairs and maybe be chasing one of the boys around the house. Time will tell, but for now, she has her forever home. She is as, BTW, a very sweet cat with just an occasional temper, but hasn’t clawed or bitten me in months.

I wonder if their is some sort or personality correlation between vintage bikes and cats...someone should do a study on why most of us appear to love both.....
This is Billie. But i call her "bill bills" ...photo taken with potatoe.
She was found as an itty bitty kitten at a library with all the skin torn off of her bottom jaw, apparently indicitive of being thrown from a car....since then she has had the best possible cat life and I love her.

So my “new” little girl Kas, having joined us 6 mos ago, has decided the past 2 days she likes cuddling up to me, her Dad, while I relax on the sofa in the evenings. I haven’t had a cat cuddle to me in 30 years. They have all be affectionate in various ways, just not cuddling like this. I thinks she’s settling in. Brings tears to my eyes as we worried if she would ever get comfortable in her newly adopted home.

Buttons our feral, still won't stay in overnight, but he comes in a couple hours every day. When it rains, he naps on his chair or on me.

My wife and I have not brought another cat in to our home.
We are away too often now.
But today, I had a very handsome/pretty cat cross my path.
It was not black, but a cool blend of warm cream/light brown mottled model.
I had no time to ring my Crane Suzu bell, so I yelled at it to move quickly.
It did.
That's a cat I'd like in the house and out in the yard.
I only have the pic in my head, so nothing more to post.

It took me a couple minutes to realize you have one on each shoulder. I would like that. They are one of my favorite animals.
