Gios Torino Super Record, riding impressions?

Hi,
I am going to look at ,what I think is perhaps a late 70s? (not a chromed fork but painted fork) strong blue color Gios Torino Super Record. This one needs a little TLC hadn't been ridden in 15 years I'm going over with a can of WD-40 and a tire pump maybe a wrench . I wanted to know from riders of this bike, what their impressions were of it. Is there a good review of it I could read in an old published journal, that anyone knows? I'm now on my fathers Motobecane grand jubilee 1978 {a few centimeters, bigger then ideal}. I have owned very few bikes and look forward to something special ,and that will fit me best.

I owned this Gios SR for a few years before selling and it was a dream to ride. Very smooth and nimble with its short top tube IMO. Every person experiences a bicycle differently but for me it was my top 3 favorite.

You won't be disappointed

That bike has a solid reputation. And...its Italian, so it gets a pass here no matter what

Fixed my spelling errors in orignal post...I had it for a few years and enjoyed it. I had put off buying a carbon bicycle and sold it to fund the purchase.

Thank you very much for your comments, I just noticed something the top tube on the bike that I am looking at and left a deposit on is on the long side and most of the frames I have seen are short as you mentioned. But his bike is a 48 cm model so I heard that sometimes proportions can change anyway I am leaving a picture of the bike and a link to the ad for your review.

Perhaps I'm wrong but it doesn't look short like in the other pictures of frames that I have seen of course everything is there all the beautiful components it doesn't make sense it wouldn't be a real one does it? How would I find out?

My question to you is, I'm not sure what my bike is worth? do you have an idea of the value since you've owned one like the one I'm looking at. mine is a small size and not at all as in good condition but still in very good condition excepting for cosmetics .any advice
