Suggestions/refs for getting bike info
I'm not on here much. I would like to get info and value on an old mercury bike. Can someone suggest an alternate site where I can ask and post my photo? 65 yr old granma, not being lazy just a bit clueless. Thank you

I don't recognize the make, but I can think of two places to ask. One, the classic and vintage forum here on bikeforums is full of knowledgeable people. Two, The CABE, especially if your bike is more of a balloon tire bike similar to what you might have ridden as a kid.

Similar bike
Hello, Thanks for your help. Very similar. The color is more fire engine red not as dark as this. The chain guard has the Mercury logo on it with white small wing and additional white graphic. Same Schwinn light. Seat is the same but in beige leather. Rack at back seems larger and the piece running from handles to seat seems larger with more white graphics. including star and chevron. It has its sticker from Murray, Cleaveland on the bar beneath the handles. It has rust but no extensive corrosion or eating away. My daughter loved riding it round in high school. we are moving and I would love to find it a home to be gussied up again.

Cool bike! Some elbow grease and new tires will make this cool around town cruiser. What size are the tires?
