Obviously the wrong wheels and converted to "fixie". Tapered stays. No derailleur hangar (not sure if it was cut off, or never there in the first place) . Stem and stem shifter remnants look like Schwinn, but I don't recognize the frame or fork. Might not even be a Schwinn? seller knows how to spell "Schwinn", but that's about it.

subject frame exhibits stamped ends from Tange and a Schwinn Approved Tange fork
subject machine fitted with Tange MA60 headset, launch edition of Voyageur fitted with Tange Falcon
subject cycle fitted with Sakae Ringyo Custom stem
launch edition of Voyaguer fitted with Gran Compe
subject bicycle fitted with plain steel saddle pillar
launch edition of Voyageur fitted with Fujita Hupel Rider
subject bike wears swaged chainset while launch edition of Voyageur was fitted with first gen DuraAce
at first glance thought subject product might be an 11.8 as there were factory chromed 11.8's
alas, she be not even that nice
Voyageur a much finer beastie

Looks a bit different than the Voyager pictured. Were any Travelers around at that point? My Schwinn knowledge is very sparse, but it looks like a lower level model than the Voyager. Stays look a bit different and the rear drop?

They had a chrome LeTour but I believe it had a braze-on hanger.

It does not look like the Super Le Tour 12.2, no dropout hanger and that eye let hanging off the rear dropout.

I think it may be a regular Schwinn Letour from about 1974 (not a 12.2) with an aftermarket chrome finish.

Agreed. Le Tour II, III, or IV from ‘75 through ‘80. None of them were full chrome from the factory so this is homegrown. The Sugino crankset (if stock) would point to a Le Tour IV.
