Is a kcal the same as a calorie? Even 1 breast and 2 legs is 70 grams of fat. I can feel my arteries hardening as I read.

A Big Mac value meal is 940 calories and 50 grams of fat. I read that on a Subway napkin at lunch.

Exactly. That's why it is sometimes a good idea to THINK about what you're eating BEFORE you eat it.

That doesn't mean we can't have Roscoe's -- but maybe ONE piece of chicken, 1/4 or 1/2 waffle, no gravy, no butter, and 1 tablespoon of the syrup per person would suffice.

So, what's the status of this ride? I got so lost in the menu, I lost track of the where, when, how far, which way, etc.

I'm kind of interested -- it just depends on whether or not it conflicts with one of my track racing events.

Oh, now CJ...don't insult the calorie counters. I expect them to show up, ride and eat the 8,000 calories post ride. It's all good.

+1 Pie and Burger was good, but not so great that I was blown away. Roscoe's beats it hands down.

Did the Roscoe's Century Ride-n-Stuff happen? Did I miss it?

Did anyone ever set a date? I saw lots of discussion about routes and menus, but never saw a firm date.

I'm interested in this one, but unfortunately, my weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) are tied up for the next 5 weeks straight -- August 18 through Sept 16 -- with track racing.

Barn Burner is owned by the guy that owns the El Cholo next store (only this one, not the others) and Donna Rosa. It's pretty good food, great creamed corn, and large portions.
