He crashed like a champ! I would be inclined to post this in a different subforum than SS/FG.

I liked seeing the Cycling Godz punishing him for hubris.

The guy is Dave Watson, I photographed him years ago for one of his sponsors, Ryders Eyewear. At the time he was telling me of some crazy ass plans for wildly steep descents and I thought that he was nuts, but nice. About ten years later I ran into him at the racetrack where he was getting his race licence (car) before heading to Europe where he had landed a gig with a Pro team and was doing the World Cup circuit for Mtb. Down Hill. I think that video is about 4 or 5 years old.

Yeah I remember seeing the picture of that back in the day. It's much more impressive when you just see the dude in the middle of the air over the bikers. If I remember correctly he got pretty messed up from that fall.

Awesome, too bad he crashed. I would have liked to see him do it again and land it.

Mixed feelings, as things can go wrong....but that being said...AWESOME.
reminds of some of the ski movies with Shane, JP and the some of the other brain dead jumping trains, trucks whatever...I use brain dead in a good way...they are immensly entertaining.

I think that clip comes from a DH video... maybe one of the kranked videos, or earthed or something. I think it's fantastic.
