Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Maybe it's an advantage to be thin or something when racing bicycles. Does anyone know for sure?

it's good thing boogerd is retiring, because he'd never hear the end of it in the peloton for wearing these lame shorts:

admire their skills alright but don't envy their built, that's pathetic to look at. I guess the beach or poolside exposure is a disaster for those guys, unless you know who they really are..
I'm happy to have more muscle and much more fat

I keep going back to look at the picture since a lot of you are slamming them and I quite frankly dont think they look bad.
They are thin but very fit, nothing wrong with that In my eyes.

I don't see what the big deal is. They are endurance athletes. They are supposed to look like that. I also don't see anything "wrong" with their build.

It's not like they are look either anorexic or obese. Both of which DO look just wrong. They just have very low body fat. Also, they can all ride 2000+ miles in a month.

On the note of endurance athletes and build, another sad surprise about Ryan Shay dying in the Olympic trials was his monster physique. I sure hope he was clean. I have never seen a 10,000 meters runner that muscular, much less a marathoner.
