Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't date -- I have a wife. And she's more attractive than the chick in that eBay ad. That leaves more homely girls for you guys who have low aspirations.

And no, I don't post pics of my wife on the internet.

With the dents in the wheel, you'd have to throw in the girl before I'd consider even the starting bid. I bet it goes unsold.

Hey now, I got a thing for wholesome girl-next-door redheads with curves. She's got a nice smile. Among other assets.

the thing is Creaky, is that she looks used as well.

And with the "flag" behind the ad, may not have the intelligence to match. though I do agree with you on a redhead with curves.

That's OK because I can guarantee you as hot as you find your wife to be (and that's great!) someone will think she's "homely". Or a dog. Or a buttaface. That's life. Everyone has different ideas of what "hot" is.

I've tried to get her to model some jerseys that I've listed before...no luck. She'll wear a bikini that's a size too small at the beach, but won't put on a cycling jersey for Ebay...

Why? As long as there is no nudity, I'd say go for it. If people want to shell out more money because the bike or part is held by a chick.....more power for 'em. It just saves me from getting bid against on other items that don't by those kind of people.

I think she's cute. And hey...if a girl in a bikini helps him sell the wheel...more power to him.

She actually looks like an ex of mine - who has the same build, same smile, same fair skin, and the same posture. She'd never pose for an ebay auction though.

I about fell over laughing when I read the description!

"Plus, you can't ride this wheel slow enough for the blemishes to show."
"This means that statistically, you have a 2.6% chance of being on the podium of the Tour de France" "weighs 1100 grams, which is the equivalent of 220 nickels."

Seriously, who the hell writes this??!

Those quotes alone would make me want to buy it if it didn't cost a couple month's income...
