My Seasons tikit unveiled
After a month or so of waiting, I have just unboxed my new built-to-order (BTO) Seasons tikit. I sold my custom Swift folder with a Nexus IGH to another folder fanatic (hi John!) in order to make room for my new ride. I definitely enjoyed the Swift, but after moving out of the 'burbs and into the city, space for the "fleet" has definitely become a problem. So after some saving, lusting, and back-and-forth on the Brompton M6R and the tikit, I'm definitely satisfied with my choice.
Some details:
- Small hyper-fold frame (I'm 5'3")
- Nexus "red band" 8-sp IGH
- rear rack
- transit cover
- awesome gold-colored bell!
- Brooks b67s
- fenders
I'm looking forward to enjoying it thoroughly this Labor Day weekend!

Yes, that's a 1969 Raleigh Twenty in the background (acquiring that bike is a whole other story)

If you are interested, a few people put together a friendly ride beginning at the Viers Mill Rec. Center 9/6. Looks like we are bringing at least one bike friday while our bud is bringing a tandem recumbent bike friday.
I know Makeinu isn't far away. Perhaps this can be a local folder ride!

That looks like a Carradice Super C Saddlepack but how is it attached to the saddle? I have one which uses straps but you seem to have made a modification using a Klick Fix type of bracket. Do tell!

Yes it is a Klick Fix that I purchased through Jandd.com. I had to modify the seat clamp a bit as klick fix technically does not work on a Brooks saddle. I like to be able to pack/unpack my friday in 15 mins or less, so all of my accessories are quick release. The super-C is a good bag, but I had trouble with the straps pulling up an over the fender washer carradice used. I repaired this twice, the brainstormed how I could do better. This is what I came up with and it works good. The original buckes are still inplace as I plan to use them as external tie points for something like a jacket.
