gospastic,
HOLY ****,
how do you take such amazing pictures of your bikes.
The lighting is perfect, the reflection on the floor, the depth is incredible.
My mind is blown,
reveal your secrets!

finally got a good photo of my bike. i really want a new paintjob. im thinking since i have all those USPS stickers on it (those white sticker in the picture, the effect makes them hard to see) i might do a red/blue/white theme.

or you can simply make one using MS Word... it's not such a rocket science anyway.
it's now removed. I sense a heap of irony there as well... where's your folding SS?

Hi there, some answers to the questions asked:
I honestly have no idea. They flat area is not round, it is flattened out for a more ergonomic grip, I'm not sure what this is called. The only markings on them are two lower-case a's, one on each side. They are very light, around 242 grams, and are priced nicely.
Yes, really it's that easy. Just get a DSLR.
No seriously, I guess the camera helps. As mentioned the background is pretty busy, but It is 33 degrees here and didn't feel like going outside to take a pic. And our apt is so small we literally have no blank wall space wider than 2 feet.
30 second photography tutorial:
If you want to isolate your bike from the background, shoot at the longest focal length/zoom setting of your camera. Put as much background space between your bike and background as possible. Get low and shoot from the same level as the bike. If outdoors, don't shoot into the sun.
The BB is 107mm. I don't know the exact chainline measurements, but it is very quiet. The bike has a standard Formula fix/free hub.
It is a 50cm, and it is indeed tiny!
