how would you have trained differently?
Rode More/less frequently, pushed harder, longer/shorter rides?
thoughts?

I should've made more effort to take little ten-milers after work and that sort of thing.

I would not change anything either. I have ridden when I wanted and raced when I wanted. All in all it has been a very satisfying past 3 years on the bike.

only thing i would change would be not being hit by a BMW back in october...
besides that, there's nothing to change. regret just eats at you, and you can't do anything to fix it!

Maybe a different line of work. That way, I would have a job now and in turn have a larger cycling budget, ultimately allowing me to buy more bike schwag, and ride less. All this riding is getting tough on the legs, and goes against the BF mantra of actually riding!
But seriously, training wise I wouldn't change anything. I rode as much as I could in the past, and raced as hard as I could at the time as well.

I have no regrets, but I could have had a lot more money saved to spend on my road habit had I not first developed an expensive taste in touring and commuting gear. Also, not indulging my urge to tinker, which adds up quick even when done "on the cheap." But F that. I learned a lot and had a great time. Also, I have a solid commuting/touring bike, so that's cool.

RR - wheel slipped going into last corner, didn't sprint as hard as I should have. Blah.
Crit - rainy, Jr's attacked from the gun and I couldn't even hold their wheel for 2/3rds of a lap... Combination of being tired from the previous day, nervous on a rainy crit course with lots of reflectors and paint, and having a rain jacket flapping in the wind. Still have no idea how I placed.
