I have a generic Performance fleece jacket that does not have pockets in the back. I'll sometimes grab it to run errands, but that's about it.

I do. I've got a Rapha Fixie long sleeved wool shirt which I wear to yoga, and when it's cold, I've got this in black and white:
https://www.sevencycles.com/featuredproduct/index.php
"No odor: wool is naturally odor resistant, even after repeated wearing"
I can attest to that...Which means I can wash it once every 3 weeks and even wear it in bed. Commuting in wool is unbeatable.

Well, it most likely is the most expensive article of clothing in your house.
One day I totaled up what my cycling attire cost me: (shoes, socks, bib tights, baselayer, arm warmers, jersey, skullcap, helmet and gloves = >$600)
I do like the looks of Rapha's stuff but wow is it expensive.

My cycling clothes double up as XC gear during the winter. Couple of Castelli jackets I got on sale at Xcel a few years ago and some long sleeved Vermarc jerseys for days above 27 degrees or so. I have a pair of wool retro Castelli jerseys that I wear with jeans as well. But I don't wear those to cycle.

I always wear my cycling clothes in the office, unless I'm wearing the rain tights that make the swoosh swoosh swoosh noise when I walk. That drives me nuts, so I keep a pair of jeans at work to change into on those days. But my office is very tolerant - no one cares what I wear as long as I do my job. A different workplace would be a different (and much sadder) story.

I'm wearing my team jacket (and it's not a big team) as a regular jacket, it's sitting right next to me as I type. I've worn cycling jackets for a while now, because that was considered sort of normal when I started racing/riding. I don't wear much else, although all my warmer weather (i.e. above 20 or 30 degrees F) socks are cycling socks.

I wear Adidas El Moro mtb shoes to work, the ones that look like running shoes, since my commuter bike has spds. Pretty comfy to walk in and I don't have to bring extra shoes with me.
I've worn a baselayer under a t-shirt and hoody and tights under jeans when i go out skateboarding on cold days, does that count?

I wore an ancient Cannondale jacket to Taco Bell one time, back when I lived in Seattle and was biking to work a lot. My jacket was made back in the 80's or 90's... I got it well-used from a cyclist who worked at Cannondale ten years ago. Interestingly (?), it was re-released, mostly, as the Cannondale Flashback jacket in 2005:
Anyway, the kid at Taco Bell thought it was pretty cool and wanted to know where he could get one.
Most of the time, in Seattle, I wore my bike-specific rain jacket to go places... lol...

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but my search has come up fruitless. Do any of you wear your cycling clothes as regular clothes? I've got a specialized jacket that I think would be fine except for the bottle pockets on the back. It's not form fitting and wouldn't otherwise draw any weird looks; I think.
Is this a fashion faux pas?

I'll wear my winter gloves walking to class, but other than that I don't really think I have anything I'd wear if I wasn't riding.

rapha's fixed jersey is pretty nice for daily wear:
yeah, it's a bit pricey, but it looks good and it feels good and i'll wear it for the rest of my life. you can never spend too much for good wool.
on a more useful note: the back isn't too long, the rear pockets aren't immediately noticeable, the fit is loose but not baggy.

I wear a Sporthill cycling jacket quite often when I go out. It's kinda tight with a heavy back fabric and some yellow lycra on the back and sleeves. No logos. I really like it as its comfortable, windproof, and the complements I receive out number the snide remarks 2-1.
I know this'll ruin my fashion credibility but I've also worn my mtb shoes and cycling sandals to concerts and bars. I once had a blind fellow remark, "Son, your walkin' sounds like a horse!"
