I've seen several Bighorn sheep, a desert tortoise, tons of different types of lizards and been chased by a coyote. I couldn't tell if he wanted to eat me or play ... I picked up the pace a bit to be safe.
Oh and a boat that was dragged into the middle of the MUP by some idiot.

The rain and sand when I was out last thursday and got caught in the downpour.
I wear glasses though, so nothing gets caught in my eye.

I saw a young guy standing at his front gate in boardshorts with his t-shirt pulled up...fondling his own breasts with a look of mock ecstasy.....I nearly choked.

Female runners, other bikes, and nice cars. My ride tends to take me through a couple of the wealthier parts of town, so Mercedes and BMWs are pretty much ubiquitous, but on good days I sometimes get to mix it up in traffic with Ferraris, Bentleys and the like.

I almost hit a possum 2 nights ago.
The coolest thing was riding next to a flying hawk. He was about 15 feet to my right and about 10 feet above me flying at exactly the same speed. That was quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen. Those birds are huge!!!

College girls at UC Berkeley. Seriously, I ride up College Ave and it takes all I have to avoid crashing. Its nuts enough that I live right there and if I want to warm up good before a climb I have to find a different route.

I did come up on a bear once when I was 19 or so in Boone, NC mountain biking. I turned around on the trail with a quickness and if I could replicate the sprint I took off then in a race I would be unbeatable.

Max Power, that is funny.
The urban dictionary is wrong though its not a beer goggles thing. I just moved here...sure there is a lot of nasty scenery floating around, but this one particular street, College Ave, which is actually sort of a neighborhood residiential street, it is totally nuts. Crash fest, and what is really amusing is to watch the other cyclists on the roads. Nobody is seeing the Subarus, VW Diesels, and Prius's in front of them.
Its crazy

I plead forgiveness though. My wife is Indian, and she laughs at me when we ride up that street

Some seriously nice wildlife, esp on early morning rides this past (for me) summer. Lots of falcons on poles waiting for breakfast to move, the odd buck, some blue cranes (on one occasion a huge gather of 15+), etc. The downside was one ride with two snakes - one already met by a moving object larger than me - the other extremely alive and well... and square in my way... I hate snakes... always have.
Apart from that, scenery-wise fields of corn going through their yearly cycle and vineyards doing the same! (Stunning colours at this stage, going into winter.) Some stunning sunrises/-sets.
Interestingly enough, also had a Lambo (That fiery orange colour) sighting just last weekend. The odd female figure have caught my eye. And the odd car in the yellow lane with me.
In the words of JBJ - that's why I love this town!
