Yeah he was there when I went by - was quiet then and I figured I'd be singled out, but he didn't look as though he'd started doing anything (was before 8).

ESCAPE!

I asked a bike cop yesterday about some of this nonsense .....

They:

Get to interpret the laws for themselves
Have never gone riding without a cop bike/uniform... though he was pretty tickled when I explained the kind of kid glove treatment i'd witnessed them receiving in traffic

So.... I had a whistle on my finger this morning.. as to not tempt fate.
Did you know you even need to carry your light in the daytime? I'm not so sure about that one though. Be glad when it's over.

You don't need to carry your light in the daytime. 30mins before sunset to 30 mins after sunrise. After that they can go **** themselves.

That's what I figured.... I also called him on the inconsistencies from one cop to another in how they interpret the law , and maaaaybe just maybe they should have this stuff explained to them by someone who studies the law as to how to best proceed. Some officers INSISTING you give them a DL if you have one..... despite no demerits, some still think you can lose demerits etc., it's just a potential can of worms to open, I figure they should be told to never ask for the DL as ID in a bike stop as it just opens up an unfair/unjust application of the law..as many people screw over by giving up he DL in a bike stop can attest too.. (which is indeed a rather big sticking point with law... the kind of thing the powers that be..vis-a-vis.. the crown, can be sued for.) Maybe they need a differing colour of ticket, say a green one for bike infractions.

^^^ Oh but far be it from me to be so disrespectful of a law enforcement officer to question an officer that obviously doesn't know the law. I'm supposed to Yessir him lest I get arrested/tasered/ticket***'d. Odd how I've been allowed to question doctors who were making obvious errors in treating my daughter in life and death matters. It's funny how the police never are wrong, never make mistakes and yet are willing to punch you on the face to prove to you how right they actually are.^^^

You'll never take Mike alive!!!!!

Sheesh man, nice... I'm about to fall asleep here; it's 28C in my office today, the "repairs" to the AC yesterday apparently did nothing. Bleh.

Steeker: pretty sure I saw you Wednesday night around 10pm at Queen/Spadina, you were turning right to go north on Spadina, I was stood at the corner with my sister stopped talking to someone, watching the big truck back up/roll forward across Queen on the west side there (looked like the delivery driver missed his drop point and was making a hash of trying to back it up there.)

It's the 7-rail. 17" wide and 11 1/4" deep. I love it. So far i've carried a case of wet and dry cat food, a MEC duffle bag with about 35 lbs. of tools in it and a case of stiegl.

I would be willing to bet the cops are going to be all over Mass tonight.

This blitz is so stupid, it just means I've had to look for cars first and then double check for cops before proceeding through clear intersections.
