Meeting up with Operator/Rob at about 5:30 5:45 at the Rivoli on Spadina. Our boy Rob is growing up and moving out West to have great adventures. Come down and say good bye, or just have a glass of liquid courage before the alleycat tonight.

the only info toby gave out was what tj posted
might involve the indy tracks, but an alleycat by definition is usually some variant of checkpoint based
the brain of toby works in mysterious ways, hard to say

That race was so, so fun. We got kicked off the indy track by some prick cop (after a mounted cop said it was fine, and after an exhibition staff person talked to us and also said it was fine as long as we stayed off the lakeshore) so we ended up doing track racing up at King's circle at U of T. 3 heats of 7 people doing full bore sprints for 2 laps. I tied for third and didn't make the cut to the final, Flim finished second in our heat and went into the semis. Makes me wish we had a velodrome here

Sorry I had to leave early and miss you there dude, you about any other day before you head off..?
Was good to see TJ again, and to meet jet_sanchez!
The plan was to do 3 laps of the Indy circuit, but as elTwitcho said we had troubles Was still a great night though, fun times.
edit: Happy Birthday Pyze-Guy! Hope Kingston is treating you well!

A heads up for everyone...tell yer friends.
Our cycling club is sponsoring a kids MTB event on August 1st. On top of bike safety checks and helmet fittings, there will be plenty of fun stuff for the kids including races, skills building games, souvenir race plates and swag bags for all who take part. It is geared to kids aged 5-13 and pretty much any bike is O.K. It will take place at the West Scarborough Community Center. Come out for a day of fun and frolic.

On an unrelated note: Rob - have fun & all the best. Please re-enact carts of fury while you're out there.
Why do I always feel like I'm in a sleazy car dealership when I go to dukes? Today pretty much confirmed that I'm not getting the BBU from them - I'll try and get CS or Sweet Pete's to *finagle* one for me. *crosses fingers for CAAD9 sale this weekend*

Just a matter of getting people interested in going, I guess... Wednesdays seemed like a good day - could always just meet at Lake Devo (around ~8?) as per the old DSR rides anyway.
Anyone else interested?
