Rubber on Linoleum
So, a while back I was on my rollers and the rear wheel came off (yeah yeah yeah...). I was on linoleum and it left a bit of a skid mark on the floor. Anybody got any tips or tricks for getting it off? Regular cleaning and scrubbing doesn't seem to do the trick.
I can't be the only one who's done this, right?

Thanks for the tip. That was the first thing that came to my mind, but it didn't work a lick.
It's basically melted on there, I think, so I'm thinking goo-gone might work, or maybe something abrasive? Anybody know if you can take steel wool will ruin linoleum?
Any other tricks?

Oxiclean works, it actually does
Edit: didn't see your post. Goo-gone is good too. The TV rarely lies.

I'd probably stay away from steel wool. I'd try a non polar solvent, or sometimes you can find rubber cement remover... that'd probably work.

Thread over! I actually just got it off before reading this, but I attacked it violently with my shoe. My foot hurts now, but it definitely worked. Thanks everybody!
Mollusk, I may hit you up for a dab of that later... got a few other things I may need to clean up around here... Thanks!

Now use some Armstrong Shinekeeper so it scuffs less easily in that area. Scuff marks are from rubber left behind on your floor. It also abrades the surface and will soon have a dull spot that will collect soil there if left untreated.
Just a tip from a floor guy.

Hiram Walker's Ten High took everything off the Linoleum of our dorm room floor.
