Did you ever hear of Doctor Demento? He had a radio show here for years. That Camaro song would have been right in line with his show.

I actually don't carry much water unless it's hot because a. I have an old man's hyperactive bladder and b. the prosthetic discs in my C-spine make it difficult for me to drink on the bike. Aspirating fluid and coughing fits are slow.

Same. Except my bladder is younger and my discs are original.

I wouldn't, but it doesn't matter since we don't have a crawl space or basement. Everything here goes up, and nothing goes down. Has to do with the soil type.
We really love our kids, and love having them around, but we've come to realize that we love that they have their own homes now.

Final tally is in for the freeze damage - $400 for plumbing, $1500 for pool, and $500 for ceiling repair. Consider myself lucky!
Still will have a pretty large amount of landscape replacement due to freeze damage, but that can be done over the spring/summer. Going to have to wait to see what recovers when it warms up.

Blowout.
The connection between the pump and filter froze causing the coupling to become decoupled. Then, when the power came back on, the pump ran due to the freeze guard turning it on, but it was just working against the ice in it rather than water. So, replacement pump, plumbing, and labor.
The iceberg did not seem to do any damage.

Velo Vol I apologize for suspending your music education during my convalescence. I will resume as soon as I can. Stretching takes up more time than I realized.

Highly modified to put out something like 1200 hp on race fuel. The owner took me for a ride in it, and scared the living sheet out of me. Would have loved to drive it, but didn't as it was beyond my comfort level.

Time to roll our tandem out of storage. Appropriate to recent threads, it weighs around ~30#, IIRC, but maybe I should weigh it.

I am sure you know, but aspiration risk is lower with neck flexion. So get a bidon with a straw.
