FOX Fload CTD Factory Rear Shox Pressure setting (limit?)

Hi everyone,

Just would like to inquire if there is a set limit for the FOX Float CTD Rear shox (factory - kashima).
On my Knolly Chilcotin, I am still not satisfied and I feel the rear is too soft for me (I am 110kg), and the pressure I put is already at 260psi.
Is there a set limit??

Thanks.

Regards,

Dex

Yep, the air can has a limit of 300 psi. If you don't have a dual-stage attachment for your shock pump, you can lose a heck of a lot of pressure in a short amount of time while you unthread the schrader valve.

Agree, I found I had to over inflate a few times until I was able to more or less get the pressure I wanted after removing the hose of the pump. Didn't seem as much was leaking until you go back and check it.

Thanks.
300psi, got it.

I do have a small issue of air leaking out just as I unscrew.

Most shock pumps are dual stage, the air loss you hear is from the hose, not usually the valve. If you un-screw partially and it leaks for a second then stops, that's just air in the hose. If it completely empties the shock that's another story.

if you are running 260 and it is soft you must have a problem I am only about 90 kg but I am running like 155 on my bike. seems like too much to me. and how is your rebound set?
