Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You weigh 142?

And five or six inches taller, if memory serves. That's a whole 'nother level of gaunt.

Makes it easier to crush souls going uphill. Not that I do it often, but it's nice to know I can when I need to.

I don’t crush souls, but I do catch up with they guys who can shake me off and leave me gasping on the flats.

The crabon handlebars I got off of sale arrived (from UK) today in such a carpy box that I’m ascared to put them on. I keep having flashes that it’s going to spontaneously assplode!

While I was at it, I also got the X-Tools version of the internal hose/wire routing kit for cheap. We’ll see how good they are the first time I get to use them..

Too much “color” (flash?) for my taste, but they were $86... #cheapskate .

Correct!

What’s sad is that many of those pics, however cool, have been posted by a bot so I’m basically replying to a computer.
