I'm not an expert, but I don't think that it's supposed to look like that.

I usually like to get out on a ride as early as I can on the weekends, but it looks like there's a line of rain moving through soon. In addition, it looks like sunny and 60° at around the girl's nap time, which is looking like an increasingly good ride time option. Were it not so warm, that might also give me an opportunity to test out the Rapha stuff that's on the delivery vehicle (surprising, since it took a detour to TX last night, between the KY and MN end points ), but I don't think I'll be needing base layers, gloves, tights, etc.

Yesterday, while riding to my soccer game, some non-serious cyclist passed me while towing one of those small child trailers on his e-bike. Should I be offended? Feel threatened? Quite the sport? He didn't even wave.

Thank you, sbxx. Yep. I'm a firm believer of tried and true, and we'll let others be the car beta testers. If you pull up Technical Service Bulletins on a 2015, it's basically have a page, with a third of them dealing with floor mats. TSB's are dealer actions addressing known problems, and occasionally turn into recalls. I checked other makes, and they were numbered in the 100's, so I felt good. Plus, being in the trades, I rarely hear or see issues with that generation. Heck, even the earlier 3.4 and 3.0's are kicking strong.
It was a choice between Larry Miller (Tour of Utah) or Groove. We went Groove, and since it was a Toyota dealer, it's Certicare covered, though I don't expect to ever need it. Sponsoring a bike team actually steered me to them, and I made sure and let them know.
I agree on your 5.7 choice. Also tried and true, and a real hoss in regards to power and torque. Good stuff, and way cool you hung on to the Tacoma.

MGM is the color. My wife got a MGM 4Runner. I think black would have been better, but not my ride.

What is the fatal attraction of voice-activated navigation in the car? Riding with friends I have observed at least 10 episodes of trying to get directions by voice inquiry, without a single success. Several of the examples actually were using On Star with a live agent coming on to perform the search. It never works. Never, ever. Either you are totally misunderstood, you get a restaurant 2,000 miles away from where you are, or the On Star agent keeps you waiting for 10 minutes while they display their ineptitude. But just type in the restaurant name and street name on your phone navigation app and the right place invariably pops up. I understand if you are driving that the voice method would be attractive, but it never works. Just stop and type in the details. My phone navigation connects to the car navigation screen, so it is a perfect way to do it. Easy typing on the phone and easy display on the dashboard.

Cold and wet today, the leg and arm warmers never came off and the shell was on for most of the ride. And yet, it was a good ride! It would have been even better if I had actually dressed properly for it. Didn't bring shoe covers and my feet were thoroughly soaked after a couple of hours of riding.
The bad news: riding across the Golden Gate bridge was cold with mist blowing horizontally, and wet. Did I mention cold?
The good news: riding across the GG bridge was cold with very few bobbleheads. (That's a technical term for first-time cyclists on a rental bike.)
Ridgecrest Rd near the lower Mt Tam parking lot.

The dark side of modernity.
Its 2019 even I at least run windows 8 at home which kind of sucks. They offered a free upgrade to windows 10 a few years ago but I like you did not take it. Windows 10 is rock solid imo. Very much like win 7 which also was very good as was win xp.

I ran Win2K pro for years past end of support. Made sure I was never logged in as Admin, only ran progs as Admin when needed. Nothing bad ever happened.
