This fork or that fork...
Hi all, I have a set of suntour xcr vintage 2006 but have just been given a set of marzocchi bombers z.4 which have a sticker saying 2001 on them.
I realise the bombers are the better fork on paper but the xcrs are 5 years younger. Which should I use?

I'd at least change the oil in it which if it is anything like my 2003 bomber air fork is dirt simple. Just pop the top caps off and dump out the old oil and dump in new and then replace caps. Should be some instructions online somewhere if you spend some time on google. Do both forks have the same amount of travel?

They are both theoretically 100mm but the bombers are a genuine 100mm..
Never owned an air/oil fork so will do some homework on servicing.. Thanks.
