Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not a lot of options for the setback you want in that diameter.

Cannondale can be weird. Might look more, there might be a <$100 option - Thomson?

Many of the climbs on FulGaz are brutal. Even the 'Easy' routes usually have some killer climbs. The first one that I ever did was in England and though marked 'easy,' had a couple 20+% climbs.

Thomson makes a 25.4mm post, but not with an offset.

Cannondale really wants you to have a 15mm offset.

Cannondale could have spec'd a 27.2 mm seat post like nearly every other modern road bike manufacturer, but what fun would that be?

Prophetic. Now 6th and off the dumbed-down MTB podium. Sad!

Don't they need any extra skinny/springy seat post to counter their jarringly harsh ride?

Only one dropper, and it's leak-free thus far. Knock on wood.

Check out Rouvy, real roads, virtual reality, interval workouts, and " races".
Everything from pancake flat, to oh sh** mountains. In training mode you can adjust how hard it is.
I got permission from my cardiologist to ride the trainer, just no hard intervals yet.

Thanks. I certainly will.

Congrats. Is this still the contusion thing?

Too bad all us old crumbs can’t send our workout EKGs to some automated processing facility in Lahore, that will send us real-time emergency warnings with directions to the nearest participating cath lab.
