You have some time to fix this . . . You haven't turned her into a lamp yet. You haven'y even started using her as a cycling clothing drying rack . . . It's when you start pulling parts off of her for another bike that i would . . . get a person to test my food

PS Make sure Mrs. Jones doesn't have access to the grid

I know a lot of guys who think " You know, I think I'll go to the Trekshibition and just look at some Madones"
Some guys just go looking for some cheap fun at the flea market . What you have to think about , is the relationship and trust you are putting on the line . You may never get that back . Is it really worth it ? and what about your example, to the youth ? We are talking about bikes here, right?

You know, I was just saying to Betty and Veronica the cats, some people on Bikeforums just anthropomorphise too much. They agreed.

Be careful with that. If you let them sleep in the same room weird things can happen. How do you think the whole hybrid thing got started?

What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be out riding the "morning after the night before" after effects and getting back on a decent relationship with Mrs. Jones.

Exactly what I was thinking a minute ago. It's a gorgeous day out there, and I've no other plans. I'm going to hit the road with Mrs. Jones!

Back when I was working the divorce rackets, I ran into the "menopause divorce" several times. This is where a woman going through the change has a sudden epiphany about needing to run free and unload hubby. Short term solution; a divorce. Long term consequence; wife burns through her half of the money while running free, is now broke and wants hubby back. Too bad Hubby now has a new GF.

Gary, bring this up and discuss it. Perhaps both of you can avoid a financial disaster. bk

Well, I have good news.

Mrs. J and I took a ride today, a glorious, sunshiny, wind-at-your-back kind of day, and there was nary a mention of a separation or even of feeling neglected. She was all "Wheeeeeee!" and gliding to and fro. We even got to watch some biplanes flying in formation (four of 'em) at the local community airport near my place. It was a great ride, and as far as I can tell, the Mrs. and I are right back where we were before the time apart. Yay!

Having had so much fun out on the road yesterday, the Mrs. is already asking where we're going today. I'm thinking it's time to head back to the beach?

Sharpen up, man! Start taking her out again, and make sure you wear clean shorts when you do. And for the love of Pete, don't let her catch you looking at other bikes online!

DG,

Glad you got that worked out.

I was going to suggest a few simple steps would surely get you back on the road to harmonious relations.

Goes about like this...
some quality time, perhaps with a pump to lift her pressure and spirits, a few soft spoken words of encouragement, perhaps a bit of lube to make for an easy ride. Then JUMP ON AND GO FOR A RIDE!

Jeff, still fat

Please do not tell me you are sitting around in your boxers and trimming your goatee. My dream will be shattered forever. The belching I could almost handle but the other is strictly TMI for this guy. Oh well back to my bicycle dreams and getting back to riding next week, hopefully.

No, Bill, I don't own boxers, don't sport a goatee (yet). If I did belch, and I am not saying I do, I would be discreet and would not take the pride in it that it seems the male members of my household do!
However, I will confess to looking at other bikes online.
