Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good to see a post from you. I was worried about you. Delta looked like it was a direct hit.

There's lots of acorns around. Enough to feed several bears. Sadly, none available.

If you leach out the tannin, acorns are fine for humans to eat.

I aerated another 33.3% of the NW lawn. Mowed the back lawn and aerated the small area of it that needed it.

I also cussed at the irrigation for the border plantings in the NE lawn. I envision laying new pipe for that zone soon

Sounds like a lot of work. Too bad, there's hundreds of them there.

I was weedeating overgrowth on a bank and I almost got misty-eyed thinking about how it's probably the last time in 2020.

That's odd. When I realized it might be the last time cutting the lawn for the year, I felt joyful. Kind of like the way you feel after watching those quality YouTube videos I send you.

I appreciate life, not death. But to each their own, I guess.
