I have finally done what just a short while ago was unthinkable. I no longer keep track of my mileage/kilometrage

An old couple knocked on our door and handed me 5 $1.00 coins. They said because of all our Christmas dogs, we won the night.

I hope you’re riding today, Dougie, or else you’re toast. Then again, there have been some interlopers on the board lately that have nothing to do with Addiction as far as I tell. Then, there are those pesky indoor guys...

I'm trying to get my wife to go out for a lunch ride. If so, I'll only get 20 or so miles in. If I go by myself, I'll probably get a few more. We're supposed to see 50º today but 20 mph winds.

I made my coffee, this morning, in a smaller pot. On purpose. I am a bit surprised at how much of a difference I feel. I am gonna stick with it for awhile and hope it soon feels normal.

We had a fun brisk ride. We did get pulled over by an angry police officer who chewed us out. He gave us a stern lecture about how we should ride no more than two abreast and told us we were 3 or 4 abreast. Threatened to give everyone in the group a ticket if we do it again.
Truth is, we really were riding 2 abreast, but since the riders were staggered I can understand how he saw us as not riding 2 abreast.
Rather than explain the intricacies of perspective, I said we are sorry and we collectively took it. But the guy was angry and kinda wrong. He also passed us on a blind curve in a fairly unsafe manner. No point in arguing with an angry officer, though.

Looks like it’s coming our way too. I hope it accelerates faster than the models predict, so we can do our Weds ride. If not, I may be Zwifting.
