Took a short day ride yesterday on my day off and spotted one of Velo Vol’s kin. Got a distant photo with the camera. Bull elk sighting this morning.
Lake Koocanusa at Rexford, MT. Counted 8 osprey flying overhead.

Got in a solo century (of the imperial type, not metric) today. Stopped at a gas station at about the half-way point and picked up breakfast/lunch - purely healthy stuff, obv.
I didn't find the nut paste M&Ms to be all that distinctive in flavor.
Then again, I didn't eat them 'til after I was done riding, and I was inhaling more than eating.

For the bridge folks, here's a few from the ride -
They took apart this lift bridge last year - looks like they're getting close -
This opened last year and crossed the river, connecting MN and WI. It's pretty cool.
Crossing the Stone Arch Bridge - this used to be a train bridge that serviced the mills in Mpls along the river. The shell of a building to the right of center is the Mill City Museum. It was a mill until it blew up. Flour dust is good for that sort of thing. Anyway, the bridge is a ped/cycle bridge, now.
