Help: Touring/Trekking Bar Mirror

I am using these bars on one of my bikes and really like them a lot, but i do miss my mirror. I never really did care for the helmet mounted mirror, so ....

How do you mount a mirror on these types of bars?

I thought I had a picture of my mountain bike with it's trekking bars, but I don't. I have my mirror right about where your finger is touching the bars, and it hangs down. It's one of those light weight ones made in Germany, can't remember the name.

I saw an ad for an interesting-looking one that mounts down by your front forks but I don't remember where I saw it.

Install a mtb bar end onto the bars, remove the plug from the tip, install mirror into hole.

try a zefal spy mirror, they are easy to mount and effective.

Thanks guys, you have given me some good ideas.

I am going to look through the parts bin, I am pretty sure I have an old orphaned MTB bar end, then I could mount a Mirrcycle mirror on the end.

I will also look at the Zefal, I have seen them on a high racer but not sure how much of my elbow it would show in this low position.

The Zefal plastic hose clamp seems usefuk in this use, easy to move

there is one that mounts low for drop bar folks, on the frame head tube..

you have to move your knee to see, but it does not occupy bar space
needed for handholds,
