French Frame Identify Please Help

French Frame Identify Please Help
I purchased this frame in a lot with KHS Track Frame, Moultons, A Bruce Gordon Frame even; and then this thing. I've think I've narrowed it down to French and believe it's a 1970s Peugeot. Has a 26.4 Seatpost and a 7 Seven Digit Serial that reads 1340169 as best I can tell. I'm pretty good at this but am unsure on this one. Any help be appreciated. The Forkouts are Campagnolo along with the Rear Dropouts. Atala? Gitane?

I doubt it is a Peugeot, which as far as I know never used Campy dropouts or lugs of that pattern. But then, I am more experienced with the cheap ones!

I've never seen a Pug with campy drop outs either.

I just saw a picture of a Peugeot that looked a lot like this, but it had Simplex drops. But peugeot had a custom shop, maybe they would put Campagnolo dropouts on if you wanted?

Not a Peugeot. I've never seen the fish mouth stay ends treatment on Peugeots, but they were featured by other French makers. The lugs look to me like Prugnat 62 something or other, which Peugeot didn't use, either - they used Nervex Professional or DuBois patterns. And while Gitane used Prugnats at various points, I've never seen this pattern on a Gitane.
I think the fork is a replacement because of the chisel-end treatment of the blade to dropout junction. What is the threading on that Sugino headset? That points to replacement there, since the French tended to use real French manufactured headsets.

Interesting, the Swiss Allegro used that style of chainstay wrap around the seat tube, though it doesn't seem to look exactly like mine. And, yes they did use Campy dropouts. Bottom bracket, at least on mine, is Swiss threaded.

Allegro's seat stay wraparound is nothing like that of subject frame -.

The wrap around seat stays and lugs do look like our Stella's. Mine has the same stay ends as Hudson 308. Also every Stella I have seen has a serial number on the lower jaw of NDS dropout.

I think there is a good chance this bike is Spanish built based on the frame details and Campy dropouts. It does resemble several examples of 70's Marotias bikes i have seen.

I'd also say Stella, but the color scheme made that my initial bias and it looks to be a repaint so color scheme is circumstantial evidence at best. Matching details from my Stella...
