Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Been listening to a huge, two-volume, bio of M. K. Gandhi. His first published writings, when he was a law student in London, were on vegetarian food and vegetarianism as a philosophy.

I tried watching TNF, but just couldn't get into it. I'll check back in the 4th quarter.

Now that baseball season is over, I guess I pivot to NHL.

Nothing else is on.

Roughly 40-45. It helps to decorate for it, and Mrs. LAJ does treat bags that take up a lot of space in the tiny kids little pumpkins. The bigger kids give the bag a squeeze, and we generally get an appreciative noise of some type.

I get that. It's the mixture of cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder. Add ginger, garlic, onions, and vinegar, and your house smells like an Indian restaurant. I move the jackets in the living room into the bedroom.

Yeah, very slow night, mainly due to an approaching cold front with tornado watch. Did get two parties of totally adorable and highly articulate tinies. Their parents were watching from the street, so we couldn’t eat them.

Wut. You didn't do that on Wednesday so you could work today? What could you have been thinking?

More seriously, extending my wishes to you for best possible results.

The sidewalks of my 'hood were packed with kids last night. At times I had to walk in the street to get around them.

My street's traffic is too dangerous for kids so we don't get any at all. Sometimes we go to the parade in town but the weather forecast last night was too ominous so we stayed home. I do miss the parade.

It still made sense to check her GI tract since that's a likely source, but does not compute. It will either normalize or declare itself. Even my hematology friend does not have a good answer at this time. If it had ALWAYS been like this that usually is something like thalassemia but her previous blood counts from a few years ago were normal.

Thanks, see above I would have been fine doing Wednesday but my GI friend said Friday was better. Now back to work.

Aero road bikes

And rims and such.
The rider is very un aero. Does Big Marketing expect us to believe that the bike's componentry can fix that? Do they think we were born yesterday? Clearly they do.
But do you?

Sounds like internal medicine and way over my tiny, hairless, head. I hope there's an innocent answer.

We hope it just normalizes and remains a harmless mystery. Will declare itself over the next month or two.

I don't, but many, many people do believe it. Many people are saying that Aero Trumps weight. And I hope you see what I did there.
