I have a Talking Heads hits album which I quite like the style of, but the name David Byrne meant nothing until I looked it up, too. But then I would probably be like that with the front members of many bands.

One of Byrne's pet peeves is people calling the band "The Talking Heads." After all, you don't say "Led Zeppelin."

The feeling is reflected in the title of their first live album: "The Name of this Band is Talking Heads."
