Roaming with the Romers across America.
I figured I'd start one thread to post about our bike trip across America. It's the day before we go and wouldn't you know it a week of rain is forecasted. Oh well get it out of the way early. Check out our final blog post of prep before we head off into the soggy wilds of Florida.

Slight change of plans...
Alright back again. Made a slight adjustment to our plans. Not leaving until this weekend and changed our starting point ever so slightly. Here is our latest blog post . It has nothing to do with bikes..but there are cool pictures of scary big bears.

Love the dramatic view of the mountains from the edge of the Waterton towne campsite. The last time I was there (June of 2009) it was so chilly and windy that the woman who checked us in suggested (unofficially) that we might want to sleep in one of the camp kitchens. Walked into one to find a nice couple hanging out there, taking a break from being in their trailer. They had the stove fired up, and the husband drove me to get more wood for later that night. I'd like to go back there with time to do some hiking.

I wanted post on CGOAB but they have a very strict policy about self-promotion and I didn't see the point of maintaining another blog.
It's a cool site but I already pay money every month to maintain my WordPress site.
