carbon fiber disc for mountain bike

what would be the pros and cons of using a carbon fiber disc wheel on a mountain bike?

Pro: Foil that little kid who throws sticks in your spokes.

Although you'd also need one on the front.

your speed will increase tremendously. you can paint cool messages on it.

this is a carbon fiber disc wheel i got from aeroxl. not a plastic wheel cover. real carbon fiber disc wheel. its built up like a hed jet.

Not what I'd call the toughest most advanced wheelset available.

you're saying a carbon fiber disc molded to a mavic 717 rim laced with 32 double butted 14/15 spokes to a shimano xt iso 6 disc hub isnt a tough wheel?

not true disc. just heavier than normal wheel. still paint/put sponsors on it.

How do you true the wheel when it gets buckled?

I think you owe Metzinger an apology. You basically have a normal wheel with a plastic spoke cover. Maybe carbon reinforced plastic, but a plastic spoke cover none the less.
