Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Have you ever read 'On The Beach'? A good read for these times.
Is that about Normandy or one of the other invasions? I would say reading calming and tranquil at this time would be a wiser Rx.

Yup, but there's a difference between alarm and panic. Never really a good time for panic. Panic is something that you allow yourself for a very short period before getting your **** together and deciding what to do next.

I like to be prepared, which limits panic. But I'm lucky because I have food, shelter, and money for Amazon Prime. When people start running out of those things, then there will be panic. Panic is contagious.

Hmmmm. I just remembered that I can use google to check stores to see their current level of foot traffic. Google sez that Target isn't very busy right now, so I might go do some shopping. Of course, they might not be busy because the shelves are empty. Guess I'll find out.

Let's hope for love and Monopoly and food bank donations instead of lawlessness, looting, and the National Guard.

Just just do a search for the store and look at the results on the map. Click on the desired location and an info sidebar should pop out. if you scroll down it will show the typical level of busyness, by hour for the given day, and the current level of busyness, if available.

Traffic into and inside Merida non-existent. Few on sidewalks normally sardine like. Despite national leadership, folks are acting in their best interests. Good to see.
