Can you isolate where the vibration problem is coming from?
I have a 2 year old KICKR Snap and it’s behaved ok for me. I don’t ride many fake miles and put out low watts so I don’t think I stress the unit much. The only annoying thing I noticed is the clamping force on the back has gotten weaker so now if I stand up and honk hard on the hoods the rear, uh, snaps a bit as it moves from the force. Maybe that’s why they named it snap?

Got it. Mine is fine so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way. Will be restarting fake miles in the next month or so, I fear.

Sheds are too damp, especially for steel bikes that don't get taken out and ridden often enough dry out. I worry especially about condensation inside the frame and pooling of water in the BB. My wife's custom bike has a couple of tiny spots of through-and-through corrosion in the Cinelli BB shell from years of storage. The builder cleaned it up and said not to worry, but still...

For a short time my ex and I lived in a huge apartment complex and we had a tandem garage. We worked different hours so we had to move cars for each other daily. We also had 3 cars and since there was no outside parking near our unit I had to park my pick-up blocks away.

This is the second one. The first one lasted about 8 weeks. This one about six months. I would have gone wheel-off in a heartbeat, but my trainer bike is 10 spd and LSS's is 11. She now wants a Yahoo bike to replace the Kickr, but it's like 3500 bucks, right?
Oh, and you WANT a smart trainer.

But yeah, it's tough to swallow that kind of price for a bike that can't go outside.
