Oh, yeah, there should be. Anything over $800 USD is subject. I think that some things still sneak through, but a box big enough for a bike might raise some flags.

Indeed, I made the mistake of clicking on that No. 22 link posted up yesterday. For about 2 minutes a shopping cart with an $8,000+ bike in it. And I am neither an old man nor a dentist.

I'm having second thoughts about buying a carbon bike after clicking on the 2008 Specialize thread. I learned that carbon is not recommended because it breaks after being hit by several busses.
