I'm conflicted about reading and catching up. I've had drama all around me at work this week and I didnt realize there was drama and fighting until today. I'm totally amazed at how effing oblivious I've been, and so glad I'm not involved. Younger me would have enjoyed knowing the details, older still learning me is stressed out by all the crazy surrounding me.
I'm still processing, people dont know how lucky they are.

Total snooze-fest.
It was like a rest day, with a little sprint at the end.

Soulless Plastic update:
Rode the R3, including a moderate hill I, which ride every day on my commute, so I know what it takes to go up it. The bike fits right down to the stem length and the seat-bars drop, which looks moderately large, actually feels about like my cx bike and I think I could even go down a cm. There was a qualitative difference in how easy it make that climb relative to my old road bike, but I noticed nothing on the flats, except that it's much more comfortable than I expected.
How a virtually new bike ended up in the seller's hands turns out to be complicated, but involves a third party finding the woman for whom said party had intended it in flagrante delicto. How it ended up with a Hed Ardennes wheelset is a complete mystery.
I think I'm going to pull the trigger.

Decent, but short, ride today. One of the roads that I typically take when I head west was closed off for an event. They cyclists weren't too thick, so I jumped in, asked one of the riders what was going on (Lifetime Triathlon) and how long the course continued and then I stayed out of the way until it was feasible to get back off the course. I felt a little guilty passing participants while riding my gravel bike and even more sheepish when some onlookers applauded me.
After I was done with my ride, it was rather interesting when I changed bikes on Strava. My default is the Domane and, under that assumption, Strava estimated a ~160w average, which is a load of malarkey. After changing over to the Haanjo, it bumped that estimate up to ~240w, which was probably pretty realistic.

I just noticed the link for Cafe Press BF store. Not that I'm going to buy any BF-branded merch, but I've gotta think that some 41 gear would sell better than the vanilla BF with logo. Someone should get on that.

Oh, ha. On the ride today, I went down to a low-lying road along the river. It has been closed since spring, but it has been passable on bike for the last couple weeks. As I approached the closure point, I saw that someone had placed their bike in the narrow gap between the concrete barriers. I saw one young female cyclist sitting on her bike nearby, waiting around and trying not to make eye contact.... but where was the person that belonged to the bike blocking my path? Oooooh - there she is, squatting just on the other side of the barriers, not-bibs around her ankles.

I bet she'd love it if I found her in my Strava Flyby and gave her kudos.
