Shamano Shifter

Wanted to replace the shifter cable on a neighbors Raleigh SC 7 but can't find any info on the shifter. Searched for an hour and the only thing I found was a dead end link to some fleabay non existent listing.

I know that with some of these twisters it was less hassle to buy a new one that try to replace the cable. It works well so I would like to use it but the cable is rusty. Any tips or how to references appreciated.

Thanks.

Just get Shimano SIS cable it's pretty much universal from six speed to 11 speed. Get the length you need plus the housings as well. Visit your LBS and they'll cut everything to length for ya.

Thanks....the diagram was precisely what I was looking for. I have plenty of cable on hand so no problem there.
