142 the overall axle width? the parts that go against the inside of the dropout* may be 135, <guess>

It's just 3.5mm more per end, you know..

*over-locknut width

There should be adaptors to do that.

I've tried searching but can't seem to find anything about an Aksium thru axle rear wheel (only the front seems to have that option). Are you sure they are Aksiums?

As noted by @hermanchauw, many manufacturers design their disc hubs such that the end caps can be swapped out to convert the wheel from 135mm quick release, to 135mm thru axle, or 142mm thru axle. Perhaps someone did just that to your Aksium wheel (not sure where they'd have sourced those parts unless Ksyrium adapters can be used). In that case you just need to find a set of 135mm quick release axle end caps for your hub.

Without pictures or a better description there's not much more we can advise other than what joejack said, as I couldn't find Aksiums with 142 thru-axle spacing either. Mavic makes endcap adapters for most of their wheelsets. I would contact Mavic with pictures and see what they advise. Otherwise, if you could link pictures in a post to here we might be able to help more.

That is where I dropped the ball I did not look at hub length These are 12x100mm/12x142 mm and my frame has 9x100mm/9x135mm. I just want to know if there is a possibility of making these work for my frame or do I have to return them.

Your frame uses Quick Release Axles (or nutted)

The Wheel uses a Through Axle

Not Compatible.

Unless *maybe* your hub is modular and has exchangeable parts to convert it to QR mode.
but now you're getting in over your head.

Most conversions are quite easy with the correct parts. But the OP is asking about a rear wheel (Aksium thru axle) that appears to not exist. Kinda hard to give advice on something like that.

I got in contact with a mavic authorized dealer as me contacting them was not possible. I found endcaps for the Aksium wheels that make it 9x100 and 9x135, these wheels come in the sizing so I'm assuming it was changed as mentioned by a member. Well I appreciate you all with the information and knowledge, I always learn the hard way

Glad you got it worked out. It is surprising that Mavic makes no mention of the thru axle rear Aksium on their website nor do they mention anything about available adapters. The internet lacks info as well. Sorry that you had to endure some pain but at least some of us learned something new
