WTB: 25.8 Seatpost (pretty much) any condition

Looking for a seat-it for a late 70's Olmo which is said to be a 25.8. Make and condition really doesn't matter. This is going on a bike for the Eroica and it is a rider, not a shower.

Cheers,

GG

Take the time to accurately measure your frame seat tube I.D.

....,which is said to be a 25.8 ...a statement like this leaves a substantial void

confirmed 25.8. The only void left is that in the frame needing a seat post

It's possible I have a steel straight-pin post in that size. Would that work?

I just bought a 25.2 & a 25.8 seat post from www.modernbike.com Had them in a few days. Both are oddball sizes for me and nobody had them, even J&B couldn't get them, think they were $15 each and both were well made.

The Avocet seatpost is in hands of the thread starter so this WTB is finished.
